Buyant-Ukhaa is the only International airport in the country. It is located 18 km to the south-west of the town and been reconstructed in 1990. It is actually not very crowded, clean and immigration and customs formalities as well as luggage delivery are very punctual.
Possibilities to get to Mongolia from other destinations by air:
- From Korea to Mongolia (KAL and MIAT direct flight)
- From Japan to Mongolia (MIAT direct flight)
- From Europe to Moscow and to Ulaanbaatar with AEROFLOT (Russian Airline)
- From Europe to Beijing with the major foreign companies and then to Ulaanbaatar with MIAT or AIR CHINA
- From Berlin (twice weekly flights) to Ulaanbaatar direct with (MIAT)
- From Milan to Berlin and then to Ulaanbaatar (MIAT)
- From Irkutsk to Ulaanbaatar (MIAT and Aero Mongolia)
- From Huh Hot to Ulaanbaatar (Aero Mongolia)

HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING:
Step 1. You should contact with Selena Travel by e mail or mail.
Step 2. Tell us your arrival and departure dates or the dates when you need the flight.
Please make sure you give as much detail as possible so that your booking form is processed promptly and accurately. Confirm your special requirements in your e-mail or fax message e.g. seat class and/or other special requirements etc.
Step 3. Send to us your valid passport copy by fax or attached file as an image.
Step 4. Send to us confirmation letter that stating your booking and payment condition.

3. Bank wire transfer
CANCELLATION
If for any reason you need to change your travel arrangements you should notify us 21 days (or stated otherwise on your booking confirmation) prior to the date of arrival to avoid possible cancellation charges.
Individual or group bookings at discounted rates
If you are arranging travel for a larger group (min 16 PAX) we are able to negotiate more attractive rate for you.
If you have a particular requirement in relation to transfers, guide, transportation and other short trips in and around Ulaanbaatar, Moscow, Irkutsk and Beijing please remember to let us know when booking. We are happy to arrange it for you or advise on any service.
